Support ranks
Support ranks are a way of grading how much support each platform receives, which changes based on the amount of information provided during test versions.
Platforms with a higher support rank get feature additions with higher priority and more thorough care.
- Rank A - Actively supported / features added even without requests
- Rank B - Addressed when problems or requests arise / requests are handled
- Rank C - Addressed only for major issues / requests are not handled
- Rank D - May work, but not supported / requests are not handled
Criteria for support ranks
Support ranks are decided based on a comprehensive review of factors such as the following. Changes happen at irregular intervals.
- Number of users (usage reports)
- Maintenance cost
- Number of test users
- Number of actively cooperating users
- User activity on social media
- Developer motivation
- Platform stability
How to raise a rank
- An increase in active contributors
- An increase in and retention of test contributors
- Being featured on social media, streams, or videos
- Use by major streamers
※ We check reports on Discord and social media activity within what we can observe.
